Here are the key details of the BYG and Cure.fit situation:The Acquisition Dispute: In 2019, Cure.fit entered into negotiations to acquire BYG. However, after BYG shared crucial data, intellectual property, and transitioned some operations, Cure.fit abruptly retracted the acquisition offer. The Injunction: Following the broken deal, Cure.fit attempted to launch a similar internal product called "Gym.fit." In response, BYG took Cure.fit to the Bangalore City Civil Court and successfully obtained a temporary injunction blocking the launch.
